Emotions: The Nurturing Force

I love to read books,
wait...I love emotions,
That were engraved inside the book,
When stitched together -
becomes a meaningful story-line.

The emotions that make or break our day,
The emotions that elevate our mood,
The emotions manifest humanity -
By inducing kindness & compassion.

The emotions that bind two creatures,
The emotions that set them free -
 when they are falling apart,
The emotions will remain with them -
 as packets of memories.

The emotions that come out of a bird -
as a humming song,
The emotions that oscillate with waves,
The emotions that travel by air -
Singing songs of the heart.

The emotions that carry the myths,
The emotions that describe history,
And restores faith through learning.

The emotions that hug a lone person
in the form of fictional characters,
by adventuring ze,
 through deepest realms of fantasies.

The emotions that our compassionate nature -
tries to convey to us,
If ignored - it will speak the wrath in the form of a pandemic.

The emotions that touch our souls,
And grew as love,
as it's the force nurturing humankind.

Those tiny pulses of emotions -
that beholds human spirits,
Because the joy of victory is far greater then -
 the victory itself.

Thank you for reading:)

Life's Only Bad Experience

I've had a great life. I endured many difficult phases, but none were deliberately orchestrated as I never carried bad intentions for anybody. Except the one you are about to read. Through this blog, we will explore causes of adversity, consequences, tactics to recover and takeaways. For context: at Darwinbox, Mr. Sarkar, my reporting manager (RM), interacted occasionally through appraisals, code reviews and delivery timelines. A fair yet clever man. And Mr. Joshi, a senior director who oversaw project development efforts on daily basis. Let's start. THE RISE Everything has a price. That's fundamental law of creation. If I look back, my journey was nothing less than a miracle. Born to a humble family, I was first in my bloodline to clear 10th + 12th with first grade, first to graduate, get a job, become a software engineer, rode Himalayan motorcycle across India, run half-marathons, read novels, and hike to Everest Base Camp. Through sheer discipline and active lifestyle, I...

Secrets of Active Lifestyle

Let's start with habits & achievements to add weightage to this blog. I have been exercising consistently for the past 4.5 years, ran half-marathons, cycled 100km couple of times, motorcycled entire nation (except North-East) during lock-down, done numerous treks, been to major religious places across the country. Also habituated with novel reading from last 7 years, practicing quick meditations (before & after bed) and worshiping just after the bath. Starting from 2024, included Digital-Fasting-Days (DFDs) to minimize digital penetration. Interestingly I have adopted all these though raised in a rural family with no trace of any goal-based value system. How did I pull that off? Secrets of Active Lifestyle , is just one out of my blog series Anatomy Of Habits , which explores the physical aspects of my habits. Lets dive in. Why it started In 2019, just after finishing a 2 km running event at Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad, I felt drained out with exhaustion. Though being ...

Finance: Anatomy Of Habits

(Generative AI Ghibli snap ) Finance , is just one out of my blog series Anatomy Of Habits , which explores the financial aspects of my habits and how they intricately working with other aspects to bring realities to my financial goals. Let's start with simple question of why i felt writing this.   WHY ?  Finance is a key factor in living a good life, alongside health. A strong financial foundation shields us from debts & instability and offers social recognition. However, money is a double-edged sword with its own set of rules. As per PwC & Perfio's research, majority of Indians spend one-third of their monthly income just to pay off loans. That's concerning. Fortunately, I am not one of them. Take, for example, a close friend of mine who started his tech career at the same time as I did. By the time he got married, he had only accumulated one-third of my total assets—and that too he spent every bit in it, ending up at square one. I man...
